The headline rebate rate is only part of a trade’s cost. Compare account rates, ten-lot EURUSD and gold examples, and the steps for linking an account to IB code 95095.

A larger rebate does not always mean a cheaper trade. To judge IC Markets rebates, you need to add the spread and any commission before subtracting the amount returned. New accounts can use IB code 95095; existing accounts need an email request to change their introducing broker (IB) link. In this article, Backcom.io compares rates checked on 16 October 2026, works through ten-lot EURUSD and gold examples, explains how to receive rebates, and looks at the broker’s move to the IC name.

What Are IC Markets Rebates, And Who Pays Them?

IC Markets rebates are payments on eligible closed trading volume in an account linked to an introducing broker. The broker charges its usual spread or commission, pays the IB a partner commission, and the IB passes a stated share to the trader. The arrangement follows three steps:

  1. You pay trading costs: Standard accounts pay through a marked-up spread. Raw Spread accounts pay a raw spread plus commission. See the IC Markets trading fees guide for the components.
  2. The broker pays the IB: Partner commission is tied to closed volume on accounts recorded under the partner code.
  3. The IB pays your rebate: The rate depends on account type and instrument. The payment goes to a Backcom wallet under the schedule published on the rebate page.

The rebate page says these payments come from the broker’s partner commission, with no extra trading charge. Spreads and trading conditions remain the same. A rebate lowers net cost, but it does not guarantee a profitable trading result.

IC Markets Rebate Rates By Account Type

IC Markets rebates per closed lot on USD accounts: Standard $4 for gold, silver and forex majors, Raw Spread $2, Raw Pro $0.85, Raw Pro+ $0.55
IC Markets Rebate Rates By Account Type

IC Markets rebate rates differ by account and instrument. For USD-denominated accounts, the published amounts per closed lot are:

InstrumentAccount typeRebate
Gold and silver (XAUUSD, XAGUSD)Standard$4/lot
Major forex pairs (EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD…)Standard$4/lot
Forex and metalsRaw Spread$2/lot
Forex and metalsRaw Pro$0.85/lot
Forex and metalsRaw Pro+$0.55/lot

These rates were checked against the IC Markets rebate page on 16 October 2026 and apply to accounts opened in USD. Rates can change, so check again before opening an account.

Read the table with four limits in mind:

  • Standard: The $4/lot figure covers gold, silver, and forex majors. The page does not publish a rate for minor or exotic pairs on Standard.
  • Raw Spread, Raw Pro, and Raw Pro+: The page groups forex and metals together, but gives each account type its own rate.
  • Raw Pro and Raw Pro+: Availability of these accounts was not verified for every trader. Check what your Client Portal offers before budgeting for a rebate.
  • Accounts outside the table: Ask support for the rate on your exact account and instrument before trading.

Raw Spread resembles an ECN-style account in its pricing structure. The IC Markets account types guide explains the account options and opening conditions.

Rebate amount = Closed lots × Rebate per lot

On ten closed lots of EURUSD, that is $40 for Standard or $20 for Raw Spread. Neither number tells you the full trading cost.

Rebates On Non-USD Accounts, cTrader, And TradingView

Rebates on other account currencies and platforms need their own units; the USD table cannot simply be converted at a chosen exchange rate.

  • Non-USD accounts: Payments use the account currency. The Raw Spread page lists AUD 2.0, EUR 1.6, GBP 1.3, JPY 170, SGD 2.5, CHF 1.9, NZD 2.5, CAD 2.0, and HKD 15 per lot.
  • cTrader and TradingView: The page states $5 per $1 million in notional volume. It does not establish whether that volume is counted one way or both ways, so do not assume a dollar-per-lot equivalent.
  • Indices and futures: Index rates are per contract: US500 $0.1, USTEC $0.4, and US30 $0.3. WTI, BRENT, and GC are listed at $0.5/lot.

Check current terms, rates, and the payout schedule on the IC Markets rebate page. Backcom.io is an independent introducing broker of IC Markets; rebates come from commission the broker pays the partner. Read the risk disclaimer before signing up.

IC Markets Trading Costs After Rebates: 10 Lots Of EURUSD And Gold

IC Markets trading costs after rebates on 10 lots of EURUSD with assumed spreads: Standard 0.9 pip nets $50, Raw Spread 0.1 pip nets $60
IC Markets Trading Costs After Rebates: 10 Lots Of EURUSD And Gold

IC Markets trading costs after rebates equal spread cost plus commission, less the rebate. That total is more useful than the rebate rate when comparing accounts.

IC Markets lists $7 per lot round turn ($3.50 per side) in commission for forex and gold on Raw Spread MT4/MT5. Standard has no separate commission, but its spread has a markup. After a $2 rebate, Raw Spread’s net commission component is $5/lot. Standard’s $4 rebate offsets part of its spread cost. See the broker’s forex specification sheet and commodity specification sheet.

Net cost = (Spread cost per lot + Round-turn commission per lot − Rebate per lot) × Lots

The examples assume a USD account on MT4/MT5 and ten round-turn lots. One EURUSD lot is 100,000 currency units and is worth about $10 per pip; one gold lot is 100 ounces. Assumed spreads: EURUSD Standard 0.9 pip and Raw Spread 0.1 pip; gold Standard $0.25/oz and Raw Spread $0.10/oz. Both examples exclude swaps, slippage, and deposit or withdrawal fees.

Gold XAUUSD, 10 lots:

Commission070.00
Before rebate250.00170.00
Rebate40.0020.00
After rebate210.00 (21.00/lot)150.00 (15.00/lot)

Both tables use hypothetical spreads, not spreads published by IC Markets. Real spreads float, so neither outcome applies to every trade.

Under these assumptions, Standard costs $1/lot less on EURUSD, while Raw Spread costs $6/lot less on gold. The gold assumptions also appear in the Vantage versus IC Markets gold cost comparison.

A higher rebate need not produce a lower bill. Standard returns $4/lot but includes a spread markup; Raw Spread returns $2/lot and charges $7/lot round-turn commission. Compare the net amounts.

Raw Pro, Raw Pro+, and cTrader are omitted from the cost tables because their applicable commissions were not verified for this comparison.

Break-Even Spread Difference Between Standard And Raw Spread

The break-even spread difference makes both accounts cost the same after rebates. Per lot, the fixed components differ by $9: Raw Spread has $7 commission minus a $2 rebate, while Standard has no commission minus a $4 rebate.

  • EURUSD: Standard costs less when its spread exceeds the Raw spread by less than 0.9 pip. Divide $9 by the assumed $10-per-pip value.
  • Gold: At 100 ounces per lot, the threshold is $0.09/oz. Above that spread difference, Raw Spread costs less under the same assumptions.
  • Sensitivity check: Raise the assumed Standard EURUSD spread to 1.0 pip and both accounts cost $60 for ten lots. Set Standard gold to $0.20/oz and it costs $160, against Raw Spread’s $150.

Backcom.io does not rank either account as inherently cheaper: the spread difference can land on either side of the threshold. Measure spreads on MT5 and put your observations into the formula.

How To Get Rebates With IC Markets IB Code 95095

IC Markets IB code 95095 identifies the partner when you register. Confirm the account is linked before relying on closed trading volume to earn a rebate.

The rebate page describes automatic crediting, no minimum trading volume, and support for MT4, MT5, cTrader, and TradingView. Its four-step process is:

  1. Register through the rebate page or enter code 95095: The page recommends entering the code during registration. If using a browser link, an incognito tab can prevent an earlier browsing session from overriding the partner attribution.
  2. Complete KYC: Prepare a national ID, driving licence, or passport accepted by the broker. The details must match your account record.
  3. Fund and trade normally: Once the broker confirms the IB link, there is no separate action for each order.
  4. Receive payments in the Backcom wallet: Rebates follow the schedule on the rebate page. Check the current terms before trading.

Entity eligibility may differ. Check the legal entity named in your agreement or Client Portal, then ask support whether that account qualifies. A single rule across all IC entities was not verified.

An account without a recorded partner code does not earn these rebates automatically. For the verification steps, see how to open an IC Markets account.

IC Markets IB Transfer For Existing Accounts: 3 Email Steps

IC Markets IB transfer in three steps: email from your registered address, notify support, IC confirms in 1–3 business days; only orders closed after confirmation qualify
IC Markets IB Transfer For Existing Accounts: 3 Email Steps

An IC Markets IB transfer attaches an existing account profile to a new introducing broker. The rebate page gives an estimated 1–3 business days for the email request. The change takes effect only when IC confirms it.

Email from your registered address → Inform support → IC confirms in about 1–3 business days → Only orders closed after confirmation qualify

The three steps are:

  1. Email from your IC Markets registered address: Send to [email protected] with the subject “Request to link IB 95095”. In the body, write: “I would like to link my account profile to IB 95095 and unlink it from my current IB (if any).” A request from a different email address will be rejected.
  2. Inform support: Share the address you used via the contact page so the team can match the record. Keep your request and the broker’s reply.
  3. Wait for IC’s confirmation: Orders closed from the confirmation time onward qualify. Earlier closed orders are not credited retroactively.

The transfer does not require three other actions:

  • No new account: IC can change the partner link on the existing profile.
  • No withdrawal: Your balance can stay in the current account while the request is processed.
  • No forced closure of open positions: Manage those trades under your own plan while waiting for confirmation.

IC may ask for extra confirmation if another IB already holds the account link. Timing and eligibility are the broker’s decision, so wait for its written reply before expecting a rebate.

IC Markets Is Becoming IC: Does The Name Change Affect Rebates?

IC Markets is becoming IC, but the IB link stays and code 95095 is still published; check the link in the Client Portal
IC Markets Is Becoming IC: Does The Name Change Affect Rebates?

The IC name change does not, by itself, remove an account’s IB link. The rebate page still shows code 95095. What matters is the link recorded against your account in the Client Portal.

The documents and registers show:

  • Brand and website: Product specification sheets use IC and www.ic.com, while legal documents use [email protected].
  • Global entity: IC Markets Global is the trading name of Raw Trading Ltd, licensed by the Seychelles FSA under SD018. The FSA register still lists “IC Markets Global and IC MARKETS (SC)” as trading names.
  • EU entity: The CySEC register lists IC Markets (EU) Ltd with licence 362/18, and includes www.ic.com/eu among its approved domains.
  • Partner code: The rebate page still publishes 95095 and [email protected] for IB transfer requests.

You can check the Seychelles FSA register for Raw Trading Ltd and the CySEC register for IC Markets (EU) Ltd.

There is no need to open another account or request a fresh IB transfer solely because you see the IC name. If closed volume is missing, ask support to check your link and review the entity details in the IC Markets review.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) About IC Markets Rebates

Do IC Markets Rebates Widen The Spread?

No. The rebate page says payments come from the broker’s IB commission, while spreads and trading conditions remain unchanged. Standard pays through its spread; Raw Spread MT4/MT5 also charges $7/lot round turn. If you want to check your own account, record the spread at comparable trading times before and after the IB link is applied. Floating prices mean one isolated quote is not a fair comparison.

Should I Pick Standard Just For Its $4 Rebate?

No. The $4/lot return is only one component of the bill. In these examples the fixed components differ by $9/lot, while Standard’s spread may be wider. The break-even difference is 0.9 pip on EURUSD and $0.09/oz on gold. Compare actual spreads and commission after rebates on the instrument you trade; the account with the bigger rebate can still cost more.

Do Standard Accounts Earn Rebates On Minor And Exotic Forex Pairs?

The page checked on 16 October 2026 does not publish a Standard rate for those groups. Its $4/lot Standard line names gold, silver, and major pairs such as EURUSD, GBPUSD, and AUDUSD. An omitted line is not proof that a pair never qualifies. Ask support about the exact symbol and account before putting a rebate into your cost estimate.

Are EU Or Australian IC Markets Accounts Eligible For Rebates?

A universal answer was not verified; terms may depend on the contracting entity. The documents identify Raw Trading Ltd under Seychelles FSA licence SD018 and IC Markets (EU) Ltd under CySEC licence 362/18. Check your agreement or Client Portal for the entity name, then get an eligibility answer from support for that account. Do not assume a rate on the global rebate page applies to every entity.

How Long Does An IC Markets IB Transfer Take, And Must I Close Trades?

The rebate page estimates 1–3 business days and does not require you to close trades, withdraw funds, or open another account. Send the request from your registered email address. The new link counts only once IC confirms it; orders closed earlier are not rebated. Save the confirmation and check that subsequent closed volume appears under the correct partner.

Conclusion: Judge IC Markets Rebates By Net Trading Cost

IC Markets rebates reduce costs on eligible closed lots, but the useful comparison starts with the correct rate, your full spread and commission, and a confirmed IB link. For the examples here, the spread-difference threshold is 0.9 pip on EURUSD or $0.09/oz on gold. Measure your own spreads before choosing an account.

New applicants can enter 95095; existing traders can request an IB transfer by email. Check eligibility and the current payout schedule on the IC Markets rebate page. The rebate comes from partner commission, as explained in the risk disclaimer.
