This page explains what Backcom.io stores in your browser, why, for how long, and how you can turn it off. The list below is the set of cookies the site actually sets — checked on the live site, not copied from a template.
1. What A Cookie Is
A cookie is a very small text file a website stores in your browser. When you come back, your browser sends it along, which lets the site remember a few things — such as whether you are reading the English or Vietnamese version.
Alongside cookies, the site uses local storage. It works much the same way, except the data is not sent to the server automatically; it stays in your browser.

Backcom.io currently has no cookie consent banner: the cookies above are set as soon as you open the site. You can block or delete them at any time from your browser:

Note: if you block cf_clearance, Cloudflare may refuse you access to the site. Blocking wp-wpml_current_language means the site will not remember your language. Blocking the measurement and advertising groups does not affect your ability to read anything.
8. Third-Party Cookies
The site embeds content and tools from outside providers (Google, Meta, Cloudflare). Those providers set their own cookies under their own policies; Backcom.io can neither read nor control what is inside them. Please consult each provider's privacy policy if you need the detail.
