- Gate does not allow adding or changing a referrer after sign-up. Register a new Gate account through Backcom.io’s link (referral code: BCGLOBAL) with a different email or phone number.
- Complete KYC on the new account. If Gate rejects it because your ID is already used on the old account: withdraw all funds, delete the old account (Account Center → Security → Manage Account → Delete Account), then complete KYC again.

Notes For Joining The Rebate Program
Do
- Register a brand-new account with the referral code before you place your first trade — most exchanges cannot attach a rebate retroactively.

- Check your accruals every week or two — if the link ever breaks, you want to catch it early.

Don't
- Do not sign up on the exchange first and try to add the code afterwards — in most cases it can no longer be applied.
