Backcom Vantage lets traders claim back part of their trading costs once their account is linked to a Backcom.io partner. The rebate is calculated from trading volume, account type and the instruments covered — regardless of whether a trade wins or loses.

This article explains how the mechanism works, the rebate rates, the conditions that apply and how to receive Backcom Vantage.

What is Backcom Vantage?

Backcom Vantage is a rebate programme for traders who trade at Vantage through the Backcom.io IB partner link.

Trader places a trade → Vantage records the volume → Vantage pays the IB commission → Backcom.io rebates the trader.

It is not a trading strategy and it does not generate profit on its own. It is simply a mechanism that reduces the costs you incur while trading.

Where does Backcom Vantage money come from?

That money comes from the IB partner commission that Vantage pays Backcom.io when you generate eligible trades.

The process has four steps:

  1. The trader opens and closes positions at Vantage.
  2. Vantage records the trading volume.
  3. Vantage pays commission to Backcom.io.
  4. Backcom.io shares that commission back with the trader.

So the rebate is never deducted from your balance, your profit or the funds you deposited.

How is Backcom Vantage different from a Vantage bonus?

Backcom and a bonus both benefit the trader, but they work differently:

Put simply, Backcom is a rebate earned from trading, while a bonus is a conditional promotional offer.

How does Backcom Vantage work?

The programme works through the link between the trader, Vantage and the Backcom.io IB partner.

How Backcom Vantage works

The rebate is calculated from volume, account type and the instrument traded — not from whether the trade won or lost.

How the trader, Vantage and the IB partner relate

Each party has its own role in the mechanism:

  • The trader: opens, manages and closes positions directly.
  • Vantage: provides the account and platform, and records the volume.
  • Backcom.io: the IB partner that receives commission from Vantage and shares it back with the trader as a rebate.

To receive Backcom, you need to trade on the account linked to the Backcom.io partner code.

Do winning and losing trades both earn Backcom?

Yes. You can still receive Backcom whether the trade ends in profit, loss or break-even, as long as it meets the rebate conditions.

Backcom is calculated from:

  • Eligible trading volume.
  • Account type.
  • The instrument traded.
  • The commission Vantage records.

So whether you win or lose does not determine the rebate you receive.

When does a trade qualify for a rebate?

A trade earns Backcom when it meets these conditions:

  • The account is linked to the correct Backcom.io partner.
  • The trade was placed after the link was established.
  • The instrument and account type are covered by the rebate policy.
  • The position has closed and been reconciled by Vantage.
  • The trading data has been recorded for Backcom.io.

If any one of these is missing, the trade may not be counted yet, or may not qualify for a rebate at all.

How is the Backcom Vantage rate calculated?

Your rebate is calculated from eligible trading volume and the rate that applies to each instrument and account type.

The general formula:

Backcom = Lots traded × Rebate per lot

The rate is not fixed across every trade. Standard, Raw ECN and Premium accounts have different spread and commission structures, so the rebate differs too.

What affects your rebate rate

Your Vantage rebate depends on:

  • Trading volume: the more lots you trade, the higher your total rebate.
  • Instrument traded: forex, gold and crypto carry different rates.
  • Account type: Standard, Raw ECN and Premium each have their own Backcom rate.
  • Actual spread: the rate can shift with the spread at the time of the trade.
  • Vantage policy: the rebate table can be adjusted from time to time.

Check the current rate before you trade rather than assuming a single fixed figure.

The Backcom Vantage formula per lot

The basic calculation:

Rebate = Eligible lot volume × Backcom per lot

For example, if the rate is $6 per lot:

  • Trading 0.5 lots: 0.5 × 6 = $3
  • Trading 1 lot: 1 × 6 = $6
  • Trading 2 lots: 2 × 6 = $12

Across multiple trades, your total Backcom is the sum of the rebates on every eligible trade.

These figures are for reference only. What you actually receive can vary with the instrument, the account type and the Vantage spread at the time of the trade.

Which accounts and instruments does Backcom Vantage cover?

The programme applies to accounts and instruments that qualify under the Vantage IB policy. The rate can differ by account type, symbol and the volume generated.

Supported Vantage account types

Backcom.io currently supports these main account types:

  • Standard: costs are mostly built into the spread.
  • Raw ECN: tighter spreads but usually a separate commission.
  • Premium: the rate is set by instrument and by the policy in force.

Because the cost structures differ, the same instrument can pay a different Backcom per lot depending on the account type.

Do Cent accounts earn Backcom?

Cent accounts currently cannot receive rebates directly. If you use a Cent account, open an additional Standard or Raw ECN account to act as your Backcom receiving account.

The basic process:

  1. Create an additional Standard or Raw ECN account.
  2. Send the account ID to Backcom.io.
  3. Wait for the receiving account to be confirmed.
  4. Check the link status before you trade.

Don’t assume your rebate will be paid into a Cent account unless Backcom.io has confirmed it.

Which instruments earn Backcom?

The programme currently covers several popular instrument groups:

  • Forex: EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY and more.
  • Metals: XAUUSD and related instruments.
  • Crypto CFDs: BTCUSD, ETHUSD and more.
  • Indices: the CFD indices on the supported list.

Every instrument carries its own rate, and the coverage can be adjusted by Vantage and Backcom.io over time — so check the current Backcom table before you trade.

How to get Backcom Vantage through Backcom.io

You can receive Backcom Vantage either by opening a new account through the Backcom.io link, or by transferring your partner if you already hold an account. Before trading, make sure the account is linked to the correct IB so your trades are recorded for a rebate.

Opening a new Vantage account through Backcom.io

If you don’t have a Vantage account yet, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Backcom.io Vantage registration link.
  2. Enter the referral code bcglobal if the system asks for it.
  3. Complete registration and identity verification.
  4. Open a Standard, Raw ECN or Premium account.
  5. Deposit and trade on the linked account.

Once activation is complete, eligible trades are reconciled by Vantage and your rebate is calculated automatically.

Transferring your partner if you already have a Vantage account

If you already hold a Vantage account, you can request an IB transfer to Backcom.io:

  1. Use the email address registered with Vantage.
  2. Email Vantage support with the subject “Change Account Owner”.
  3. Ask for the account to be moved to IB 23149729.
  4. Forward your registration email to the Backcom.io team so they can verify it.
  5. Wait for the transfer to be confirmed before trading for rebates.

The IB transfer has to be approved by Vantage. Trades placed before the link is complete may not earn Backcom.

Trading data and rebates are recorded in the Backcom App. Payouts are currently consolidated and made automatically every day, though the exact timing can depend on the Vantage reconciliation cycle.

Does receiving Backcom Vantage affect your trading?

Receiving Backcom Vantage changes nothing about how you trade. You still manage your own account and open or close positions on the Vantage platform exactly as before.

Backcom.io only receives the trading data in order to reconcile it and pay the rebate — it plays no part in executing your orders.

Do spread, commission or execution change?

As a rule, receiving Backcom does not change:

  • The spread on the account type you use.
  • The commission set by Vantage.
  • Execution speed and quality.
  • Pricing or the trading platform.
  • The profit or loss on any individual trade.

The rebate is calculated after Vantage has recorded an eligible trade. So Backcom only offsets part of your real costs — it never interferes with the order itself.

Can Backcom.io interfere with your Vantage account?

No. Linking your account to an IB partner gives Backcom.io no control over your account.

Backcom.io cannot:

  • Open or close positions on your behalf.
  • Change your trading strategy.
  • Withdraw funds from your Vantage account.
  • Adjust your balance or leverage.
  • Access the account unless you hand over your login details.

All you need to provide is the correct email or account ID so the link can be verified and your rebate paid. Never share your password, OTP or any authentication code with anyone.

Summary

Backcom Vantage lets traders claim back part of their trading costs through the Backcom.io IB commission. The rebate is calculated from volume, account type and eligible instruments, independent of whether a trade wins or loses.

To have your rebates recorded, you need to:

  1. Link the correct account to the Backcom.io partner.
  2. Trade on a supported account type and instrument.
  3. Wait for the position to close and be reconciled by Vantage.
  4. Check that the receiving account ID is correct.

Backcom can lower your trading costs, but it does not guarantee profit. You still need to manage your capital and control risk on every trade.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Is there a registration fee for Backcom Vantage?

No. There is no separate fee to register for rebates through Backcom.io.

What does 100% Backcom Vantage actually mean?

It means 100% of the IB commission Backcom.io receives from Vantage is returned to you — not 100% of the spread or commission you paid.

How long does a Vantage rebate take to arrive?

Rebates are usually consolidated and paid out daily. The actual timing can depend on the Vantage data reconciliation cycle.

Do losing trades earn Backcom?

Yes. Winning, losing and break-even trades can all earn a rebate as long as they meet the programme conditions.

Why hasn’t my trade been recorded for a rebate?

Some common reasons:

  • The account is not linked to the correct Backcom.io partner.
  • The trade was placed before the link was established.
  • The position has not closed, or is awaiting reconciliation.
  • The account type or instrument is not supported.
  • The trader supplied the wrong receiving account ID.

Can an existing Vantage account earn Backcom?

Yes. You can request a partner transfer to Backcom.io and wait for Vantage to confirm it before trading for rebates.

Should I trade bigger just to earn more Backcom?

No. Backcom only offsets part of your costs and guarantees nothing. Trade to your plan and manage risk appropriately.
