OKX’s basic maker rate is 0.080% versus 0.100% for the other three; Bitget’s futures taker rate is 0.060% versus 0.050% for the others. Treat Gate’s 0% USDC/USDT pair separately because its volume does not count toward VIP status.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) About Gate Trading Fees

What Are Gate Trading Fees Right Now?

VIP0 spot maker and taker rates are both 0.100%, or 0.090% when paid with GT. Standard USDT-M futures at VIP0 charge 0.020% maker and 0.050% taker under the schedule effective 9 April 2026. Check the rate shown for your own pair and VIP tier, since specific programs may differ.

Does Gate Charge A Deposit Fee?

Gate does not charge a platform fee for standard on-chain deposits. Your sending wallet or exchange may still charge a network or withdrawal fee. Check the network, receiving address and any required Memo or Tag. The total cost of transferring assets can therefore exceed zero even when Gate’s deposit charge is zero.

How Much Is The Gate USDT Withdrawal Fee?

There is no fixed USDT withdrawal fee across all networks and times. Gate adjusts withdrawal costs with the network and prevailing conditions. The roughly 1 USDT TRC20 figure cited by a May 2026 secondary source was not directly verified for 15 October 2026. Check the fee and net amount on the withdrawal screen before submitting.

How Much Does Paying Fees With GT Save?

At spot VIP0, paying with GT cuts maker and taker rates from 0.100% to 0.090%, saving 10% of the trading fee. Savings vary across VIP tiers; from VIP10 the announced GT rate matches the ordinary rate. Confirm that GT payment is enabled and consider changes in the token’s price.

Are Gate.io And Gate.com The Same Exchange?

Yes. Gate announced its Gate.com international domain and updated branding in May 2025. Older guides still use Gate.io, while the fee schedule cited here is on Gate.com. Use the correct domain to inspect rates or sign in, and check the address before entering account details.

Conclusion: Lower Gate Fees Start With Order Type And VIP Tier

Gate trading fees at VIP0 are 0.100% on spot and, for standard USDT-M futures, 0.020% maker or 0.050% taker. Your actual cost also depends on order execution and funding. Check the specific pair, consider maker orders where execution permits, and weigh any GT fee saving against token price risk. If you are new to these markets, understand spot and futures risk before optimizing fees.

Disclaimer: Backcom.io compiled this information for reference as at 15 October 2026.
